Chippin in for Charity
Chippin’ in for Charity is an annual charity golf tournament sponsored by the Boone County Bar Association. Todd Werts and Brad Lear of Lear Werts LLP both sit on the planning committee for the tournament. To date, the tournament has raised well over $10,000 for local charities. Below are pictures of attorneys and other community members hitting the links to raise money for a good cause.

Boone County Bar Association Scholarship Program
For the past several years, Todd Werts has been the chair of the Boone County Bar Association’s Bar-Schools Committee. This committee coordinates the local bar association’s involvement with the Columbia Public School’s Partners-in-Education program and the association’s annual scholarship program. This program awards a $1,000 scholarship to one graduating senior from both Hickman and Rock Bridge High Schools. Additionally, a third $1,000 award is rotated between the other schools in Boone County. Mr. Werts is seen here presenting an award at Rock Bridge High School in 2007.
