Clients hit by tractor trailer while moving cross-country

Our office resolved a case involving two young men who were driving through Missouri on their way from Michigan to Arizona. They were driving a rented moving truck and towing the driver's pick-up truck. During the night, they were rear-ended by an over-the-road trucker. The impact was so severe that it flipped their truck off the roadway and into a ravine. The passengers sustained moderate physical injury, but were both greatly traumatized by the incident. The effect of this accident was so severe that it even impacted both men's spouses. Our office pursued a case on their behalf in the federal courts. Ultimately, this case settled after sustained negotiations between our office, counsel for the trucking company and various other entities.
